Festival Internacional de Benicàssim returns to Spain this year for the 15th time in the festival's history and is expected to be a huge event in the European festival calender.Located in eastern town of Benicassim (strangely enough), the festival is a perfect mix of music, sun, and sea. Popular among festival goers looking to soak up a few rays, you should definitely pencil this into your calender if you're trying to avoid the rain this summer.

Going by past acts that have played at Benicassim, you're not going to be disappointed. Big names that have graced the festival in the past include Radiohead, Pulp, Muse, Oasis, Morrissey, Bjork, and plenty more for you to drool over. With a number of stages and a variety of acts, you'll definitely find something you like... and if for some reason you don't, you can always bask in the mediterranean sunshine! So... lets recap. A history of huge headliners, a nice variety of music on show, awesome weather, one of Spain's biggest music festivals, if not Europe's, and all this for £160. Convinced? If so, get your ticket now because they tend to sell out sharpish, especially as it's a popular festival among us Brits. For more information, check out the official Benicassim website and check out the other links under the Benicassim menu on the left. If you don't think Benicassim is for you, fairdos, there are still loads more festivals out there (that's what's so great about European festivals!), so have a flick through some of them under the Festivals menu by clicking "back".
