Pinkpop takes place every summer in Landgraaf, Netherlands and apparently is the oldest annual festival in the world! Approximately 60,000 people attend each year and in 35 yeas, 1.5 million people have attended Pinkpop! Okay... enough with the random facts... Obviously, being the oldest annual festival in the world, Pinkpop has a pretty awesome history of big acts. Over the 3 separate stages, names such as The Kinks, Pearl Jam, The Jam, The Cure, Red Hot Chili Peppers, R.E.M., Smashing Pumpkins, and Rage Against the Machine, Linkin Park, Snow Patrol, and Arctic Monkeys have all played.
