Rock Werchter takes place every summer in the village of Werchter, Belgium. Going strong since it started in 1974, the festival has been a 4 day festival ever since 2003 and is hugely popular in Belgium and all over Europe. 

Even thought only 2 stages may seem like a let down for such a big festival, you'll find that you avoid problems with clashes, which is always a pain. With a history of booking amazing bands, you're be grateful for the lack of clashing. Rock Werchter has seen them all: U2, The Cure, R.E.M., Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica, Rage Against the Machine, Foo Fighters, and loads more. Recent years have seen Muse, Pearl Jam, The Chemical Brothers, and Faithless headline the 4 day festival with support from My Chemical Romance, Beastie Boys, Arctic Monkeys, Snow Patrol, Incubus, and Metallica.
